The Bauerfeind AchilloTrain specifically relieves the Achilles tendon and supports healing processes after irritations caused by injuries and overuse. The bandage helps to relieve pain and reduce swelling through medically effective compression and circulation-promoting massage effects during movement.
Irritation of the Achilles tendon often results in pain. The cause can be overload, injury or surgery. But the so-called Haglund heel can also cause symptoms. The Bauerfeind AchilloTrain Achilles tendon bandage can provide relief. It is made of a breathable, skin-friendly train knit that is very stretchy. This adapts precisely to the shape of your foot and follows every movement without slipping.
The edges of the AchilloTrain are soft and elastic so that they do not constrict. This means the bandage is comfortable to wear all around. The AchilloTrain is extra short in the foot area to avoid pressure on the 5th metatarsal bone. Overall, the knitted fabric is so flat that you can wear the bandage comfortably under your stockings and in comfortable shoes. The recessed grips on the upper edge of the pad make it easier to put on and take off.
The pad with a meander structure and massage knobs surrounds the Achilles tendon and extends to the muscle-tendon junction. When moving, it exerts a gentle alternating pressure massage in conjunction with the knitted fabric. This aims to improve local metabolism and stimulate the muscles.
