Knee braces
No joint in the human body is subjected to greater stress than the knee; consequently, it is highly susceptible to pain and injuries affecting the ligaments and muscles. When the knee joint cannot bear weight at all - or requires very cautious loading - due to injury or disease, our knee splints and braces provide the necessary protection. Constructed from a combination of rigid and flexible elements, knee braces offer significantly greater mechanical stability than standard knee supports. They provide secure guidance for the knee joint and correct movement patterns when required. They are therefore most commonly used following surgery or severe injuries, or to delay surgery in cases of conditions such as advanced osteoarthritis; they also help maintain joint function and strengthen the muscles surrounding the joint through guided movement.
