When the knee a long time must be restrained after injury or surgery, ensuring the knee brace GenuLoc that it is kept stable. A padded rail made of aluminum fixed the leg while at a preset knee bending angle. Via lateral Velcro strips, the orthosis can be adapted to any size leg.

Form follows function
With the orthosis GenuLoc the recently injured or operated knee may be immobilized. The breathable and washable carrier material will be spanned by plastic bars that adapt to the laterally extending aluminum rails at an angle. The tracks follow on the knee along the body shape and keep the knee in 20-degree angle bent. This angle can be changed at any time for therapeutic reasons.
The power of peace
Velcro straps facilitate donning and doffing of the orthosis GenuLoc. While the rear aluminum rails remain rigid, the leg circumference can be varied over the lateral Velcro strips. Padding in the knees prevent slippage and can also be lying positions over a longer period of time. The knee is immobilized so that the healing process can take its course undisturbed.
