Genumedi PA is a knee brace to relieve the Pes anserinus tendon attachment. The 3D tendon pad stimulates the pes anserinus, which can lead to a reduction in pain. Thanks to the complex pad design, the Genumedi® PA support supports pain relief and the reduction of swellings (edema, hematomas). It also influences the correct patella guidance through a laterally reinforced patella silicone pad. The pressure on the tendon attachment can be individually adjusted with the orthosis strap. Every Genumedi PA comes with a free physical tape and information on appropriate physical exercises.

Genumedi PA is used when it is necessary to influence the patellar glide path, for example in:

Pes anserinus syndrome
Pes anserinus bursitis
Pes anserinus tendinopathy
Postoperative pain at the pes anserinus
Patellofemoral pain syndrome
Osteoarthritis and arthritis

The tendon pad stimulates the pes anserinus on the inside of the knee and relieves the tendon insertion. The offset belt system enables individual pressure regulation on the pad that is adapted to the patient. Two thigh pads help to restore the muscular balance: while the detonation pad provides a trigger point response to relax the outer thigh muscle, the activation pad stimulates the inner thigh muscles. The laterally reinforced patella ring promotes safe guidance of the kneecap. In addition, the open edging of the patella silicone ring minimizes the pressure on the kneecap.

The extra-soft knitted fabric, the comfort zone with a corrugated structure and the diamond center make it easy to put on, comfortable to wear - especially in the hollow of the knee - and the proven stability. Lateral grip knobs (grip-ons) also make it easier to put on.

The Genumedi® PA knee support is made of compressive knitted fabric. This enables stabilization and relief of the joint. Patients experience an improved self-perception (proprioception) - this in turn supports the guidance and stabilization of the joint.

Thanks to the special combination of high-tech and eucalyptus natural fibers, Genumedi® PA is particularly skin-friendly. The Clima Comfort * technology offers high breathability: It wicks moisture away from the skin quickly. The integrated Clima Fresh function ensures an antibacterial and odor-inhibiting effect so that the Genumedi® PA is also comfortable to wear during sporting activities and in everyday life.

Gibt Sicherheit...
...nach einigen Wochen Sportpause. Unterteil sitzt perfekt, Oberteil rutscht etwas beim Bewegen und wirft Falten, die beim Sitzen unangenehm sind. Aber sitzen soll man ja damit eigentlich auch nicht. Ich hatte befürchtet, dass es unter der Bandage zu warm wird, was aber nicht der Fall ist.
