tennis elbow

If pain occurs on the outside of the elbow during certain movements or even at rest, then it can be a so-called tennis elbow. This tendon disorder arises from prolonged overloading of the muscle attachments on the humerus. Although it can cause major problems, the tennis elbow usually responds well to conservative treatment, so surgery is rarely necessary. However, it is important that the disease is recognized early so that countermeasures can be initiated to counteract the damage to the affected tissue.
