feel the difference Make a difference: mediven cotton is a circular-knit medical compression stocking with 27 percent pure organic cotton. The product is used for compression - among other things in the treatment of complaints and diseases of the leg vein system. These include: chronic venous diseases of stages I to II according to Widmer or C0s to C4 according to CEAP, the initial phase after varicose vein therapy as well as congestion symptoms, edema during pregnancy and nausea during pregnancy. mediven cotton is also used in thrombosis prophylaxis for mobile patients.

Due to the strength of the material, the fit and the product properties, we recommend mediven cotton for normal to overweight people with a slight to severe tendency to swelling. mediven cotton is also suitable for patients with soft connective tissue and sensitive or allergic skin.

Feel the difference: Optimal combination of natural fibers and functional fibers - for a natural and pleasant feeling on the skin
Feel good with 27 percent pure organic cotton: the organic fiber is noticeably soft and lies directly on the skin. This enables a particularly high wearing comfort. The combination with functional fibers ensures a thermoregulating effect: cooling at higher temperatures and insulating warm in cold weather.

The natural fiber organic cotton is considered to be particularly gentle - and is therefore suitable for sensitive and allergic skin. This has been dermatologically tested for mediven cotton 1 and given top marks.

For the mediven cotton compression stockings, we use GOTS-certified organic cotton and GRS-certified recycled polyamide yarn. These are internationally leading standards with high ecological and social requirements - for consideration of resources and the environment. The materials used are each additionally OEKO-TEX certified. The focus is on transparency, trust and an important step towards more sustainability.

Tragegefühl top, Haftband flop
Der Baumwollanteil im Faden macht den Strumpf vom Griff her schön weich. Das Tragegefühl ist angenehmer als bei einer Faser mit nur Polyamid.
Für einen opimalen Sitz wäre es schön, wenn es hier auch das Flächenhaftband Rose gäbe, welches für mich die erste Wahl wäre. Das Haftband mit den Mikronoppen ist bei mir eine Plage denn es rollt sich gerne auf, was dann sehr unangenehm einschneidet und einem den Tag verkrätzen kann. Das Tragegefühl eines Kompressionsstrumpfes steht und fällt mit dem Haftband, da kann die Faser noch so raffiniert sein.
Daher gibt es von mir nicht die volle Punktzahl.

Immer wieder Medi Cotton
Für mich immer wieder die besten Kompressionsstrümpfe. Ich versuche es immer mal wieder mit anderen, komme aber immer wieder auf diese zurück.
Ich wünschte medi würde mal mehr als die 2 Farben herstellen.

gute Idee
Die Kompression bei Klasse 2 dieser Strümpfe ist stärker als bei Mediven elegance, aber nicht so gut wie die Mediven plus. Ich hatte sie mir wegen dem Baumwollanteil gekauft, da ich im Sommer oft die neuen fließenden Hosen trage, die halt nicht immer aus Naturfasern sind und diese an meinen anderen Medivenstrümpfen kleben, was einfach blöd aussieht. Das mit dem Kleben ist tatsächlich besser, aber durch die Baumwolle sind sie halt dicker und somit keinesfalls kühler im Sommer als die üblichen. Einen Punkt ziehe ich ab, weil sich das Haftband am Oberschenkel aufrollt, was mir bei anderen Mediven Schenkelstrümpfen noch nie passiert ist. Das sollte nicht passieren und muss überarbeitet werden, denn günstig sind die Strümpfe ja nicht gerade!
