AFO Dynamic combines the best of Össur's Flex-Foot® technology with the energy-storing properties of carbon fiber. The result is a durable, lightweight solution for individuals with varying degrees of foot drop.

The AFO Dynamic is a strong yet lightweight solution for patients with varying degrees of foot drop as a result of neurological

disorders. Össur has integrated the carbon fiber technology of the Flex-Foot® products into the AFO Dynamic. This means that the AFO Dynamic offers a better support effect compared to conventional ankle-foot orthoses. The ability of the carbon fibers to store energy contributes to the dynamic properties of this ankle-foot orthosis, as the stored energy is then released again. In this way, walking is supported more efficiently, making the AFO Dynamic ideal for particularly active patients.

Excellent weight/load ratio and dynamic movement thanks to carbon fiber design.
The tapered heel area made of carbon stores energy when the heel strikes and thus dampens the ground reaction forces that occur.
The long forefoot lever offers full support when walking.
Reduces energy consumption by reducing hip lifting on the affected side.
Less noticeable in the shoe thanks to the medial splint.
Open front shin shell enables optimal anatomical fit and reduces heat build-up and perspiration.
