The medi Ankle RTS ankle orthosis is suitable for indications where stabilization of the upper or lower ankle joint in one plane is necessary, for example:
- After distortions (twisting, sprains), such as supination trauma (overstretching of the external ligamentous system)
- For chronic ligament instabilities in the ankle joint
- Preventive after supination trauma, especially in cases of Athletic activity
- For minor injuries of the syndesmotic ligament
- Wearing the medi Ankle RTS provides security and can prevent instability and ankle sprains. Reliable support is provided by the anatomical pre-shape and the surrounding stabilizing element at the ankle.
The interaction of the stabilizing element with the Power Lift function (traction force on the outer edge of the foot through the talus strap) offers effective protection of the capsule and ligaments and can prevent unhealthy joint movements. The two straps of the Easy-2-Strap system and the comfortable entry enable easy handling and adjustment.
