Achilles tendon problems

Achilles tendon problems (medically often referred to as achillodynia) are painful instances of irritation or wear affecting the strongest tendon in the body. They are usually caused by overuse during sports, shortened calf muscles, or unaccustomed strain on the feet. Pain upon starting to move - such as in the morning or after getting up - is a typical symptom.
