Jumpers Knee

Jumper's knee (patellar tendinopathy) is a painful overuse injury of the patellar tendon located directly below the kneecap. It typically occurs in sports involving frequent jumping or abrupt changes of direction, such as volleyball and basketball. The primary symptoms are pain at the tip of the kneecap when pressure is applied or during physical exertion.
