insertion tendopathy

Insertional tendinopathy (also known as insertional tendinitis) is a painful irritation or wear of the tendon insertion—the precise point where a tendon attaches to the bone. It typically develops due to chronic improper loading or overuse during sports or daily activities and causes characteristic pain upon starting movement and during exertion.
