disc prolapse

A herniated disc occurs when the soft tissue of a spinal disc between the vertebrae protrudes and presses on a nerve. This often causes severe pain that can radiate into the arms or legs, accompanied by numbness or tingling. In most cases, it heals without surgery through medication and exercise.
