BSN medical Tricodur Gilchrist Smart

Tricodur® Gilchrist Smart is a high-quality immobilization orthosis, which provides a secure fixation of the arm in an adduction position, ensuring a reliable and comfortable arm and shoulder rest.
The orthosis is distinguished by its innovative construction, which makes the mooring as easy and intuitive as putting on a jacket. With just one hand, the patient can overlay, fixate and adjust the orthosis - without the help of others.
The unique hook closure positioned centrally in front of the body ensures quick and safe handling. It can be operated with only one hand and signals, by an acoustic clicking sound, that the orthosis is securely closed.
The adjustment of the belt system is only necessary for the first time.
The preformed forearm support provides a secure support as well as a good stabilization of the wrist.
It can be opened with one hand, thus enabling relaxation of the elbow and wrist, as well as carrying out first therapeutic exercises for early functional after-treatment. If the pad is closed, it nevertheless guarantees the freedom of movement of all fingers.
The open construction of the Tricodur® Gilchrist Smart leaves the affected shoulder free and accessible.
A shoulder strap diagonally across the back prevents pressure in the neck area. The soft shoulder pad as well as skin-friendly and latex-free materials offer a comfortable wearing comfort and thus ensure a high patient compliance.
Tricodur® Gilchrist Smart is made of polyurethane and polyester as well as a closure made of polyoxymethylene and polyethylene. The product is washable at 30 ° C.
