The Formfit Thumb Spica orthosis is used to restrict movement of the wrist and thumb. The orthosis provides immobilization and protection for patients suffering from tendonitis (e.g. Quervain's disease) or soft tissue injuries. The orthoses are also used after mild to moderate sprains and strains, for ski thumbs and in the healing phase after the cast has been removed. The lightweight, breathable material and contour fit ensure excellent comfort.
