Actimove® Rhizo Forte is an immobilizing thumb orthosis for the treatment of painful conditions and irritations in the saddle and metatarsophalangeal joint of the thumb, associated with chronic and acute complaints.
The orthosis immobilizes the thumb saddle joint (CMC) and the thumb metatarsophalangeal joint (MCP 1) and positions the thumb in the functional position. The special construction of the orthosis
effectively prevents thumb adduction while allowing full freedom of movement of the other four fingers and wrist.
Thanks to the malleable aluminum core, Actimove® Rhizo Forte can be optimally adapted to the individual hand shape very easily. The orthosis can be easily put on with just one hand using the practical Velcro fasteners. Specially selected materials and the slim design with soft edges offer high wearing comfort. The orthosis is dirt-repellent, can be worn in water and dries easily. It is therefore also well suited for longer wearing periods in everyday life.
Actimove® Rhizo Forte consists of thermoplastic polyurethane and polyamide as well as an aluminum alloy (internal core). The product is washable at 30°C.
