The M.step ankle orthosis is suitable when sprains or strains need to be supported from the side. It can also be used after a ligament rupture. Fixed half-shifts offer very good stabilization during pronation and suprination movements (turning the foot). At the same time, the orthosis adapts to swellings using foam gel pads without building up pressure.
The M.Step can be worn on both ankles and is securely attached using two Velcro strips. Both Velcro straps can be removed from the half-shell and individually fixed in order not to unnecessarily strain or constrict the affected areas on the ankle.
Indications
- Conservative / postoperative for ligament injuries to the ankle (grade II to III)
- After distortions
- With chronic instability of the ankle
