medi Lumbamed active - back orthosis to relieve and stabilize the lumbosacral transition
Lumbamed® active is an orthosis that stabilizes and relieves the load on the lumbar spine (lumbar spine). The compressive effect relieves pain and muscle tension. Lumbamed® active can help relieve back pain, sciatic pain or reduce pain in lumbago.
Lumbamed® active is suitable for all indications in which stabilization of the lumbar spine is necessary. These include, for example:
- Back pain in the lumbar spine (lumbar pain)
- weak back muscles (muscular insufficiency)
- Painful conditions at the transition from the lumbar spine to the sacrum (lumbosacral transition)
The air-permeable structure ensures a pleasant skin climate. In addition, the elastic, supple material makes it extremely comfortable to wear. Hand straps integrated on both sides make it easier to put on the Lumbamed® active back orthosis.

- Symphysis loosening (The symphysis is the connection between two bones in the form of fiber cartilage. If this loosens or is overstretched, e.g. during childbirth, pain in the pubic symphysis occurs, which can last for several weeks.)
- Postdiskotomy syndrome (Scar tissue can develop after intervertebral disc operations. If this presses on nerves, back pain occurs, which is often described as "burning".)
