It started more than 40 years ago in Rosenheim, Germany.
Cornelius Rechenberg, a student of plastics technology, developed as part of his Diploma thesis the first silicone breast prosthesis. His claim: He wanted women after one Mastectomy provides a natural-looking solution to replace the missing breast.
The first silicone breast prosthesis came onto the market - and Amoena was born.
Since then, we understand ourselves not only as a company, but also as a community with one clear goal: With innovative products, we want to help women to be safe and secure at all times to be able to feel nice.
Our vision
