lordosis

Lordosis refers to the natural, forward-facing (convex) curvature of the spine in the cervical and lumbar regions. It serves as a resilient, shock-absorbing structure for the body. If this shape deviates significantly from the norm, the condition is referred to as either hyperlordosis (swayback) or hypolordosis (flat back).
